PILATES FOR ATHLETES TESTIMONIALS

Eddie Cheever "Patrea knows her stuff and her Pilates regimen has helped me immensely. Being trained with Patrea is great because she is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Pilates is seriously an unbelievable workout. I would recommend it to anybody!" – Eddie Cheever, Indianapolis 500 Champion
Wendy Garvin Biking

"I've been training for endurance events for about 10 years and began doing Pilates training about 4 years ago at 15 to Fit to help improve my flexibility and recovery time from swimming, cycling and running. Additionally, Patrea trained me throughout my entire pregnancy with my 2nd child. The recovery time was quick and I was back into my skinny jeans in no time. Even after a C-section, my abdominal strength resumed in just a few short months. Pilates was exactly what I needed to get my entire core into shape after my pregnancy and ready to aspire for more.

When I decided to train for a full Ironman Triathlon (2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike and a 26.2-mile marathon run) I planned to make Pilates an important part of my training also. Sometimes, despite my good intentions, I would get so busy with swimming, cycling or running training that I didn't always prioritize Pilates. My body definitely felt the worse for it. On a couple of occasions I went more than 2 weeks without a Pilates session at 15 to Fit and I paid the price with nagging injuries. When I would resume Pilates, the injuries would subside. I just completed my first full Ironman Triathlon and it was thrilling to say the least! I thank Patrea and her pilates training at 15 to Fit for her help in achieving this long-time goal." – Wendy Garvin, Ironman Finisher

Lance Garvin

"I have found Pilates to be a welcome addition to my triathlon training. The owner of 15 to Fit, Patrea Aeschliman, is not a skinny Pilates instructor coming from the world of dance, but a skilled trainer of athletes and a very fit and accomplished athlete herself. She pushes you and motivates you to improve. Once you do Pilates, if you had any inkling that it was easy and 'girly', you will promptly be set straight. Don't get me wrong, it is meditative and a different kind of workout from a hard-driving cycling session, but it is intense nonetheless. If you're going to do Pilates, do it at 15 to Fit where the skilled instructors, led by Patrea, will help you reach your athletic best." – Lance Garvin, Ironman Finisher
