css web Carmen Snider, Pilates Instructor
Originally from Colombia, South America arrived to the United States in the late 70's and got a BS in science from Purdue University where she met her husband Mark of 25 years. Together they have two kids; a daughter Danielle and a son Zack. She has been involved with fitness for more than 16 years. Carmen is a certified group fitness instructor as well as a personal trainer and holds several certifications in Pilates including IM=X and PHI Pilates. She has been through a comprehensive certification through Power Pilates to increase her knowledge in the industry. Carmen was first introduced to Pilates by my sister in Miami Florida. Carmen's first class was with Brent Anderson founder of Polestar Pilates and from that day she fell in love with the workout. She loves the way Pilates makes you work from the inner core and how it includes elements of balance, flexibility, strength, coordination, and most important how it helps with posture and alignment of the spine. Carmen's Philosophy, I think exercising and a healthy diet should be a top a priority of our everyday living , it not only keeps us fit and young looking, but it is also a mental therapy that helps us release negative energy out of our bodies and gives us a sense of well being.
